Does any one know if the 3D0X3's will only be testing against other 3D0X3's or are they going to just lump all 3D0's together for testing the PDG this year? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Thanks in advance for any assistance! If you are a retrainee and your new AFSC has an SKT, you’ll compete against all other individuals who do not have to take the SKT in their CA FSC and will be considered in promotion AFSC 00XXX or 00XXXX (for chronic critical career fields). If you are a retrainee but your new AFSC does not have an SKT, you’ll compete against the eligibles in your new A FSC. If your new career field has an SKT, you may elect to take the SKT. However, the decision must be made prior to testing and cannot be changed once you are administered the tests. The SKT that you will be administered will be the SKT in your new career field. http://ask.afpc.randolph.af.mil/main_co ... rods5=2380I believe there is about 1600 in the 3D0x3 career field

COPE_75 wrote: Is there any where we can find the total number of 3D0X3??? All i could find was that the 3d0 tranformation slides from 2007 showed 525 3d0x3 with 3d0x2 being the biggest one for 3d. This low number though does make sense. I would guestimate that there are probably no more than 550 3d0x3.

AFPC Secure Apps. RAW. IDEAS. Enter the data you're looking for. Probably only need PA FSC and current rank. Fantastic tool to see where you rack and stack with education/ PME, etc. Mostly useful for MSgts who want to make SMSgt.

The promotion percentages are about the same for every career field, no matter how many they need. If the Staff promotion rate is 20% it will be the same 20% for services as it is for surety. 20% of 300 is bigger than 20% of 100, but the percentage is the same (+- about 1%) for every career field.

Incorrect. I was told that we're not competing within career field this year - we'll be competing against all 3D's for now

It does make sense, only because everything is not finalized with all of the moving around. I am stuck in a JOINT billet and i am now a 0X3, but we don't get any of the Big Blue info that most bases pass out.

doogle2d wrote: Incorrect. I was told that we're not competing within career field this year - we'll be competing against all 3D's for now That is interesting. I kind of hope that it is true, because I've seen average scores for several of our previous afscs, and the average for programmers was higher than the ones I saw. I expect that the former 3C2s probably did well as well, but I don't know. Regardless it would lead to a great promotion cycle for programmers. However, I doubt it is true. My rip listed 3D0x4 as my promotion A FSC, which makes me believe that I'll be competing against other x4s. We'll know for sure in a couple of weeks.

They have a simple user-created search tool that lets you search our demographics by afsc, age, race, location, etc. You could use the tool to get a breakdown of personnel from a given AFSC by rank.
